Part 1: Description of the strategy area
The strategy area, its landscapes, habitats, ecological features and current biodiversity condition.
Find priorities, habitat and supporting measures, and priority species. For the strategy background and explanation, visit the Surrey Nature Partnership LNRS pages.
Know the habitat or land use? Choose a family to read its general principles and explore the related priorities and measures.
Explore Surrey's nature recovery priorities by habitat, wildlife or the actions you'd like to take.
General principles from Part 2 of the Surrey LNRS, grouped by habitat and land-use family. Choose a family to explore its priorities and measures.
Families group broad habitats and land uses. Priorities state the intended outcomes; measures describe the actions that support them. For example: Woodlands and Parklands → W1 → W1.1.

Search by measure code, priority family, theme, measure text, description, related BNG habitat, or linked ELMs action. Measures associated with more than one family appear under each relevant family filter and are shown once in this table.
| Measure Code | Theme | Measure | Description | Related BNG habitats | Linked ELMs Actions | Guidance |

Search Surrey's priority species by common or scientific name, taxon group, suggested location, or species-specific recovery measure.

These notes are drawn from the Nature Recovery Action Data Schema and explain fields that commonly need interpretation when completing project and intervention records.
These actions support delivery of the priorities through planning, research, skills and community involvement. UR4 contains supporting measures only.
